Recently, I’ve been reminiscing on my youth and critical turning points in my life. These were moments when I opened myself to new interests in an effort to grow and expand my horizons. Whenever I could find free time in my busy work schedule, I would revisit old songs that I listened to growing up. Songs that I had “legally” downloaded onto my iPod touch when I was in middle school. I honestly have always enjoyed listening to any type of sound as long as it had a good beat! I could dive in and talk about so many different music genres, but today I wanted to stop and focus on one specific genre: Electronic.

Summer of 2014 something extraordinary happened to me. I was checking in on Tumblr like any other teen at the time and noticed some interesting news. The Japanese techno-pop group Perfume was teaming up with Panasonic to create the groups first ever 4K music video. I was absolutely astonished by the results of this minute and thirty seconds long video! Never in my life have i seen a music video in such crisp quality. Now I have seen some examples of 4k video in the past, but never would I imagine a music video (especially Perfume, who were at the time still uploading 480p videos) being able to translate into such a high quality.

Hello helloooo! Wow... for a while I've had this idea of opening my own music blog and here we are now! I have a crazy interest in all different types of music and feel as if twitter Isn't a big enough platform for my interests. So think of this site as an extension of my twitter, just less memes and more deeper discourse/ analysis on the subject of music. I'm still preparing notes for my upcoming posts so please stay tuned!
